The "RUNAWAYS—LIVE AT THE HEIDELBERG" is a rare keepsake. It's the only live recording of the Runaways.
Originally captured on reel-to-reel in 1967, this analog tape was digitized for CD
at Bird-On-Fire Recording Studio in 2023.

The Runaways, 1960s house band at Matters Ballroom in Decorah, Iowa, would
change their name to The Rubber Band in 1968 with the release of their first (and only)
45 record, "My Baby Left Me" b/w "Five Foot Two."

In 1970 lead singer, Larry Crandall, and keyboardist, Doug Koempel, would split from the
band to form The Memory Brothers.
